1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the EducationInFilm platform, including access to our online training programme, your participation in any in-person workshops, and all interactions with our website and content. By purchasing, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
Our platform is intended for individuals aged 18 and over who are interested in working in the film and television industry. All training is educational in nature, and we do not guarantee employment or specific outcomes.
2. Services Overview
EducationInFilm offers:
A self-paced online training course (currently for aspiring camera trainees)
Access to downloadable resources and quizzes (where available)
Optional access to apply for free, in-person workshops (places not guaranteed)
Workshops are subject to availability and operate on a first come, first serve basis. Attendance is optional and no additional fee is charged, but your application does not guarantee a spot.
3. Account Creation and Access
To use the online training platform, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Create an account with accurate, complete information
Keep your login details secure and not share your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including cases of account sharing, misuse, or abusive behaviour.
4. Payments and Refunds
All payments are processed securely through Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your full payment details.
Full access to the training course is granted immediately upon successful payment.
You are entitled to a 5-day no-questions-asked refund from the date of purchase. Refund requests after this period will not be accepted.
If you are based in the UK or EU, you acknowledge that access to digital content starts immediately and that by doing so, you waive your statutory 14-day cancellation right, in accordance with UK consumer law.
5. Workshop Policy
The workshop is included as a bonus benefit but:
Must be applied for through the platform
Places are limited and offered on a first come, first serve basis
If you fail to attend a workshop without notice, there is no refund or compensation
Selection for the workshop does not affect your access to the online course
6. Intellectual Property and Content Use
All videos, materials, downloads, and other content made available through EducationInFilm are the intellectual property of BRKS Group Ltd.
You may not:
Share, resell, or distribute our content to others
Upload our materials to third-party platforms (e.g. YouTube, social media)
Reproduce, modify, or claim ownership of any of our content
We take content misuse seriously. Unauthorised use may result in legal action, including removal of your account without refund, and potential claims for damages.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and services responsibly. This includes:
Not sharing your account or login credentials
Not attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or misuse the platform
Not posting offensive, abusive, or harmful content if interacting with other users or our team
Not using our services for any unlawful purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently disable access for anyone violating these terms.
8. Marketing and Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive:
Transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts, account notifications)
Marketing emails (e.g. course updates, new offers)

All training is provided for educational purposes only. We do not guarantee any job placement, income, or results.
While we aim for accuracy, we do not promise that all content is free from error or suitable for every situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EducationInFilm (and BRKS Group Ltd) is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage resulting from your use of our platform.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to:
Remove or restrict access to any user who violates these Terms
Disable access to specific features or the entire course in cases of breach, especially involving unauthorised sharing or content misuse
Do so without obligation to refund any payments
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve it informally.
If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be referred to the appropriate legal channels in the UK.
